Introduction to SDSU's EDTEC 541

This enhanced podcast serves as an informational and promotional multimedia tool for the Educational Technology (EDTEC) department’s course, “541: Web-based Multimedia Development.”

The purposes for the 541 pre-course podcast are as follows:
• To inform enrolled 541 students of the courses’ learning objectives, content overview, and assignments.
• To showcase past 541 students’ testimonials and success stories.
• To encourage students to review the course website and syllabus and inform the professor of expectations and questions
prior to the first day of class.
• To promote the course and San Diego State University’s (SDSU) Educational Technology program.

The primary audience for the 541 pre-course podcast is students enrolled in the course. The secondary audience is SDSU College of Education (COE) website visitors, which include prospective students and current students at the undergrad and graduate levels.
